Ever had one of those days, weeks, paintings? That has been my fate of late and unfortunately my number is 8 so when things go hay wire, they run in eights. This painting was blighted from the beginning! Notice the grid, that happened unintentionally, then I lost focus during the initial layout drawing which further deteriated the piece. Next we had the great friskit debacle which made me want to rip it to shreds but being the kind of person that does not give up, quit, and/or throw things out windows (anymore :), I continued on. That’s three of the eight things, I won’t bore you with the rest. At last its finished and this is the result.
