Here is the second painting of a Cherry Blossom Faery! You can find the first in this series here: Ora Faery Moon Art- Gallery 2008- Cherry Blossom Faery In this version, I tried to create less negative space yet still keep the movement and focus that has been a major part of this series study.

Once again, you see the influences of my favorite artists, Daniel Merriam and Stephanie Pui-Mun Law. As far as references go, I usually take lots and lots of photos and have a varied selection for when I may need them; the rest is guess work and imagination!
