FAQ.....

-Can I use "The Phookas Gaze: Art by Ora Moon"? Yes, of coarse it would be ok and I would be honored though if you do so please make sure it is for non-profit reasons, also it is a must that you have my copyright: "(C) Ora Moon" on any page or place that has my work, it would also be professionally considerate if you mention that you have my permission to use my images and you are not hot-linking to the artwork, etc., on this site as this causes my site and yours to slow down! This is known as stealing the bandwidth which is not ok, so please right click the image and download it to your desk top from their you can upload it to your own site.

-Can I use Ora Moon Artwork for my Tags Siggy, Sig, Sig Tag, SigTag, and/or Tubes?: Yes you can use my art for your personal, non-profit Tags and Tubes! I understand and appreciate the need to have pre-existing artwork available for the folks interested in creating these wonderful signature tags and tubes. You understand that all copyrights are retained by the artist, Ora Moon and each use of my work must have my copyright information on it ( (C) Ora Moon ). Please do not distort, stretch or otherwise spoil the artwork. I'd love to see what you've done with this new option, so if you would like to e-mail me with your tag-tube at orafaerygirl@yahoo.com that would be great! Have fun!
Update: 07-03-09: It is not necessary to e-mail me asking permission to use my work as it is described above for Tags, this only congests my e-mail!
In the future I would like to compile a page featuring your tags, however most of the time folks don't give me a full name or just a nickname when they send their Tags to me, so when you do send them try and give me your name so that I can properly credit you, also, a link to the work or site would be appreciated! For those of you wishing to License my work for Tags, I appreciate your offers but I am committed to allowing the free use of my artwork as described above, thank you anyway, but no!

-Where Can I Buy Your Prints, ACEO's and Products?

-Do I need to e-mail you for permissions? It is not necessary to e-mail me for permission to post my artwork within this site to your own site. If you do decide to post my illustrations I ask that you please maintain the integrity of the images by not altering them in anyway. This means no modifications or touch ups to the original copyrighted work. If you must resize them to fit your space please make sure they are proportional! Nothing makes my heart ache worse then to see my carefully illustrated work made into distorted, stretched, and generally spoiled shadows of their true and intended renderings. Thank you!

-Can I use the Art for other stuff? Lots of people have asked me if they can make tattoos out of my work, the answer is yes, of coarse! Many people ask me if I would design a tattoo for them which is quite flattering but unfortunately I can not do this in most cases, unless I work side by side with a person for a week or so, tweaking the drawing to their (your) specific ideas/needs! I find it difficult and time consuming but would consider it if we did work together and in person. You can do what ever you want with my art for your own personal tattoos, as long as it's again for non-profit purposes. Please be respectful of other peoples art that I've created for them, it's their property, if they own the art, it's not up to me to say how or if you can or cannot use it!

-Where did you learn how to do that? Now this is a loaded group of words! I'll ask you to visit the About Artist page for details about me and my work.

Everything in this website is completely original and created solely by me, Ora Moon. If there is a quote or poem or the like that I choose to use then I will mention the name (s) giving proper credit whenever and wherever possible. It is my intention to get my work "out there" to the general art/poetry/Faery/spiritual/ loving world. I do not intend to plagiarize anybody. I do have influences that inspire me and enlighten me, I find it only natural that my work may at times remind you of others works, after all if we look throughout his/her-story at the greatest of creative genius, and the "masters/mistresses" of art, we can see many influences in our modern day painters/writers/creators...
